Salaam 'alaykum,
I don't understand how asking someone, who is alive and in your presence, to make du'aa to Allaah for you to grow your beard is shirk. And then it is really confusing when he says ,"but I'll make du'aa that you quit shaving it (the beard) off." Hmmmm.
