For some reason you have strong feelings about this video .I am sorry if it affends you . But this is not about you . Alllah swA Does allow muslim men to marry women of the book . But there are guide lines that they have to follow .Just like when they marry more than one ....When these men marry non muslim women it is usually for the wrong reasons . Not realizing that they will effect themselves and their families for the rest of their lives . Noone is judging any one here .But when something needs to said , then it needs to be said .Islamically you may address an issue or issues to everyone ...but when you want to say it to then directly you need to address them alone and in a good adthab . And this is what is being done here .she is not talking to a certain person or gave their name . So I see no issue ....May Allah keep us all on the straight path .and give us in this life and in the hereafter ..Ameen !-Ines
Thank you for your thought , but you have me confused with the person who made it . I did not . No one is judging anyone . There are issues that we need to be addressed And this is one of them . Muslim men are allowed to marry people of the book that is not the issues . Do you know that most of the men that do marry people of the book end up in divorced because the lack the sense that it might not work out . and only for
one of the reasons is that his christian wife want to rasied his children as christian . do realize that most of the men marry these woman not because they can not find a muslim wife but because he is not being a good muslim himself and meets her in bar or club . Allah subhannah wat allah says you will marry just like you . so if you are a good muslim you will marry good one .If you are an adulter you will marry and adulter . I know of a man who married a christian woman ( he is a good muslim man ) but because he was being rejected
from muslim because his race . But he married a good woman and then later became muslim . but you see this is not what she is talking about . Think about the children who have to suffer and might become christian ..... it is
just something to think about

I am not sure if you listen very closely but it says that he can change his name from john to yahya and learn how to pray ! indicating he converts to islam . And the end she says that if that does not work and he goes back to his religion then that is fine she will take her kids and be there in jummah , while the other woman will be taking her kids that were suppose to be muslim to church .
So there is nothing about woman marrying kafar ......
What my concern is that you use prominent scholar instead of quran and hadith .Which is more important than what a scholar says then when something needs further studing or understanding then you go as far as a scholar but thanks for your concern because there might someone else that might not totally understand. :)
